Bowker is a great designer to consider for Mother of the Bride or Groom, particularly if you have your heart set on a dress this season. I was very impressed when I read about his philosophy, and how he views his designs, he obviously has a real passion for his subject. In his own words, this is what he says :
“At some time most women are lucky enough to enjoy their own ‘red carpet’ moments, to go somewhere knowing they will be noticed, appreciated and may be photographed and where, as the centre of attention, they will want to look and feel their best.
My clothes are special, sometimes special in idea, often special in fabrication and always special in quality. I use techniques that are rare and difficult, I commission unique fabrics that will not been seen elsewhere and I cut the garment patterns myself, always seeking that accuracy and flattery of cut that I consider to be essential.
Any woman stepping out on a special occasion, walking up her own personal ‘red carpet’, is looking only for accolades. Nothing less will do, and this is what we are all hoping and working for.”

Went to High Society today to look for an outfit for my daughters wedding in August. I would like to thank you so much for your help and assistance helping me choose a lovely dress from Tom Bowker and my fasincator. Nothing was to much trouble for the Sales Assistant. I would highly recommend High Society to anyone who is looking for Mother of Bride outfit. It was a lovely shopping experience. And once again thank you for your help and advice.
Visited the store on the 27th March 2010 to look for an outfit for my daughters wedding in August. The service I was given was first class and nothing was to much trouble. Eventually after trying various outfits I found the outfit – wasn’t something I would have looked at but after trying it on the quality and material was that extra bit special I purchased a Tom Bowker dress. I can’t wait now to see my fasinator which is being made to go with the dress. Once again thank you for making my visit so enjoyable and making myself and my family who with me so welcome.
